The team at Free Your Feet can help treat bunions your by:

Bunions are also know as Hallux Abducto Valgus (HAV) and are a painful foot condition that can develop at any age.  HAV commonly affects the joint of the big toe.  The condition tends to run in families with a flexible foot-type being inherited that predisposes the individual to the bunion formation.  Bunions are progressive which means they become gradually worse if not treated.  Early interventions would take the form of supportive footwear and orthotics to improve the structure and stability of the overly flexible foot-type.

Providing advice on footwear and inserts that can reduce pressure on the bunion and improve comfort.
Recommending exercises and stretches that can help to strengthen the muscles and joints around the affected area, which can help to reduce pain and prevent the bunion from getting worse.

In more severe cases, we may recommend surgery to remove the bunion and realign the toe.

By taking a holistic approach to treating bunions, Franc can help patients manage their symptoms, reduce pain, and maintain an active lifestyle.
